You know that creative thing you’ve been wanting to start but don’t know where to begin?
I’m sure you do.
To many, art school in-accessible in a society that takes absolutely no regard towards creative endeavors and solely measures wealth on an arbitrary monetary system that rewards fowl play, manipulating the natural world, and exploiting others.
Further, finding proper education around art is not a straight forward pursuit. You can conceptually understand as much theory / formal elements of art, but until you begin to break the rules and find your own style, it will not be your own.
All art needs time to foster without external pressures. It’s important to think deeply about how many foundational works could exist without the pressures of outside factors. Art will naturally make you engage with others differently, engage with your self differently, and be more open to the world.
Art is absolutely essential in our society which each day becomes increasingly more artificial and meaning-less.
If you are interested in art in any capacity you should choose to flow-with it in-spite of all of the reasons the creative path presents a more complex challenge.
To do nothing would be the gravest tragedy.
